Grand Prairie High School hosted the Grand Prairie Independent School District College Night on Thursday, September 21 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Students were invited to learn about opportunities after high school and explore their options.

“I got to meet and get firsthand knowledge on colleges I was interested in,” Ife Kehinde said.

The college fair is a chance for students to talk to college representatives, get more information and ask questions about the college process.

“There were workshops available to provide students with advice and resources for the application process and scholarships,” Kehinde said. "I found scholarships based on ACT and SAT scores."

The event is held annually and is open to all grade levels.

“I encourage people to attend because it is informational,” Kehinde said. “Without it, I would be missing great resources and information.”
