–30– has been traditionally used by journalists to indicate the end of a story. For seniors -30- will signify their last story on the Gopher Gazette staff.

Senior year is as exciting as it is nerve racking - it’s the last year of your high school career. Although many people feel as if high school was the best years of their life, others can’t seem to wait for graduation.

From remembering my first day of school to thinking about my last day, the memories of elementary and middle school are still fresh in my brain. When people tell you the “four years of high school are going to fly by,” they are being serious. Freshman year seems as if it was yesterday, and now we are seniors getting close to entering the real world.

During my high school career, I have spent four years split between two different high schools. They each taught me different things. I got to meet different people. I grew as a person. I missed a couple of high school experiences though, and that’s the one thing I am going to regret. I wished I could go back in time and try to get more involved in activities.

The end of high school is near. We have one more month in this bubble. I am excited, but also part of me is sad and not ready to let go of certain things that I won’t be able to enjoy anymore.

-30-
