Senior Reflections: Gabriel Cornejo

My entire life I was told one single thing over and over: school is going fly by. Every single time time I would hear that, I would simply brush it off and not really much attention to it but. However now that graduation is around the corner, I can’t help but feel regret. Regret for not listening to those who tried to watch out for me.

I’ve made and lost so many friends along the way with thousands of memories to attach to each and every single one of them. If you were to ask me which year was my favorite year of them all, I wouldn’t be able to answer you because they each was significant to me in their own way.

One of my greatest memories would have to be my junior year when I was a cast in the ensemble for the musical, which I find crazy because I almost didn’t do it. I met one of my closet friends during those months of practicing. It was so much fun and one of the happiest moments, but also one the saddest when it was all over.

I remember thinking to myself that one day, I will never be able to walk these school halls ever again. But now it’s the next step of my life and I never knew it would be this hard.
