GPHS Announces End of Year Events

4/17 - GPHS Talent Show in Chambers from 7:00 -9:30 p.m.

4/18 - Top Hispanic Awards for GPISD in Chambers from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

4/20 - Geepettes Spring Show in Chambers from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

5/3 - David Daniels Scholars Award Ceremony in SGP Theater from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m.

5/8 - Senior Awards Night in Chambers from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.

Teachers award seniors, top ten percent are given their cords and stoles, and Valedictorian, Salutatorian and top ten students are given honor stoles. Community Scholarships are also announced.

5/9 Ballet Folklorico Concert in Chambers from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

5/11 Junior & Senior Prom 2018 at Gilley’s in Dallas from 8:00 – 12:00 a.m.

5/14 Senior Signing Day in the Cafeteria from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.

Seniors will have the opportunity to have their picture made with their family on Senior Signing day. If you would like to do this, please sign up in the College and Career Office.

5/15 Final Senior Check Out is Mandatory/ iPad/Book turn in Senior Entrance from 3:05 – 4:45 p.m.

This is a Mandatory Check Out for all seniors! All textbooks, iPads and chargers will be turned in prior to graduation.

5/16 Mariachi Concert in Chambers from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m.

5/21 Senior Breakfast/Sr. Walk Practice in Turner Gym at 7:35 a.m.

Senior parents cook breakfast for seniors while they for practice senior walk and graduation.

5/21 Geep Court in Turner Gym from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m.

5/21 Senior Walk/Baby Slide Show in Turner from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.

5/25 Senior Picnic at Mike Lewis Park off Carrier Parkway from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Senior parents cook the food provided by the Senior Class. A ticket lottery may be conducted at 6:15 p.m. for any extra graduation tickets.

5/26 Graduation at Verizon Theater from 3:00 -5:00 p.m.
