StuCo Rush Week Begins Today

Student Council (StuCO) is busy hosting their important Rush Week events Monday, January 22 – Friday, January 26.Over the week, StuCo will be hosting a combination of events to get students involved in the organization.

“Students who are interested in joining StuCo need to attend two out of the four events we have this week to receive an application,” Ms. Acevedo said. “Applications will be available for pick up on Friday from 7:10 – 7:30 a.m. or 3:05 – 3:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.”

The organization has a wide range of events planned for the week. The schedule is below.

At each event, StuCo will also be collecting donations for Hope Bags for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

“The purpose of Rush Week is to get students involved in student council,” senior Zoe Jimenez said. “We also really want to get them to understand the causes of human trafficking so they can see how StuCo helps other organizations ”
