Pop-punk band Fall Out Boy (FOB) recently released a new album, Mania, on January 19, 2018 and everybody going crazy about it.
When I found out about the new album, I was just scrolling through Twitter. I didn’t even know FOB was even working on an album, so it surprised me when they announced it by a tweet. I got so excited because I have loved them since middle school. They always made good music so I expected the new album to be great.

Once it was released, I went straight to Spotify and listened to the first song “Young and Menace. I wasn’t very fond of it at first, but then it got to me and I ended up liking it. There’s really no song that I didn’t like from the album. All the songs are chillingly good and I can’t stop listening to it. My favorite song is ”Champion” because it seems like I have been listening to it for years.
There’s a big difference between Mania and their past albums. They matured more - you can tell by the beat of the music - but it still has their classic pop-rock vibe of course.
I still can’t believe they have seven albums already. It’s very inspiring to bands out there because people usually leave or priorities change but FOB has been going strong for years.
