Prom is next week and tickets are sold and almost ready to be handed out. This year ticket prices were from $80-$120 depending on what time you decided to buy your tickets. Some people waited until last minute and had to pay full price. Most seniors weren’t too happy about it.
“I had to pay $360 out of my own pocket for these tickets and it’s not gonna end there. I still have to get a suit and figure out what other expenses I need to pay,” senior Azael Villa said.
Villa isn’t too happy with his decision, but he believes it’ll be worth it because prom is a night you wait your whole childhood for and it’s something you can tell your kids about.
“Prom is expensive to go but at the end of the day the memories you make with your friends are going to be priceless,” Villa said.
“After next week, all we have looking forward to is prom and graduation so I’m ready to go turn up and make the best of what we have left,” Villa said.
