Cardi B - Invasion of Privacy

Cardi B released her first album on April 6, 2018 and so far it has been a success. Her album is now streaming on Spotify, Pandora, iHeartRadio, YouTube, and more. Many people have different opinions on the album and many of the opinions are very good ones.

“Out of a five star rating, I would have to give her an 100. Cardi really did her thing with this album,” sophomore Marjon Moore stated.

Cardi B’s album has been certified gold and debuted number one on the U.S. Billboard 200. With multiple features from well known artist, such as; Migos, Chance the Rapper, Kehlani, SZA, and 21 Savage.

“Her album is so great because she was able to work with great producers,” junior Ciara Woodland commented.

Cardi’s album had a very great and talented production team. Some of those producers were; Ayo, The Beat Bully, Cheeze Beatz, DJ Mustard, Murda Beatz, and etc. Overall I would rate her album with five stars. Without a doubt Cardi B is heading to the top at the rate she is going.

Recommended songs to listen to from off her album; Drip, Be Careful, Get Up 10, Bartier Cardi, and I Like It.

Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco has new music that has everyone feeling desperate for it to come out.

“Panic! at the Disco never fails to surprise me,” Junior Halie Bartolome said.

On March 21, Panic! released a two singles called “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” with a video included, and “F*** a Silver Lining.” Both the songs have many people listening to them on repeat.

"In my opinion, I love “Say Amen (Saturday Night)” because it really puts me in a good mood. I’m ecstatic for the new era,” junior Halie Bartolome said. “I can’t wait until I see them for the first time,” junior Halie Bartolome said.

On the same day, lead singer Brendon Urie mentioned the new album, he announced a new tour with band “Arizona” and “Hayley Kiyoko,” Both the album and tour name are “Pray for the Wicked.” Tour tickets have been sold out to many people that were involved with the presale on Friday, March 30 at 9 a.m., but general sales started at noon. The album is coming out on June 22.

“It’s crazy how Panic! at the Disco just started from the song “I write Sins Not Tragedies” and now it’s 6th album being released soon,” Junior Halie Bartolome said.

Even though Panic! seems to be changing each year, they remain the same helping out other artists become bigger. The other artists Panic! is touring with are not known by many people, so it’s a win win for Hayley Kiyoko and Arizona. In my case, I’m not going to judge them yet because for all I know they could be great performers like the last band Panic! at the Disco tour with.

“Everyone pretty much knows them even if you don’t listen to that type of music,” junior Bartolome said.

Panic! At the Disco has been one of the best rock bands out there like “Paramore” and “Fall Out Boy,” I have known them for the longest now and I’m grateful that they are making another comeback. I really loved their old album and tour “Death of a Bachelor,” but it’s a new year for new things to come in.
