–30– has been traditionally used by journalists to indicate the end of a story. For seniors -30- will signify their last story on the Gopher Gazette staff.
There is no place is like high school. Freshman year you think you have life figured out then senior year hits and you realize that everything you thought you knew about yourself is gone. It’s a time of growing because high school gives you the best and worst of times.
In high school I’ve been through several hardships. I’ve through surgeries, heartbreaks, a parent divorce – I’ve been through it all. I have also gone through good times where I have met incredible people who I have made real brotherhood relationships with.
Now as I look forward to college, I have to say good bye. Goodbye to the town that raised me, goodbye to my friends and goodbye to my family. Although it will be hard, I understand it is a part of life and I know I am ready for it. I’m ready for the challenges and nothing is going to stop me from starting the rest of my life now.
