The final three months of the year are everyone’s favorite. America’s scariest month has already passed, meaning it’s the turkey’s time to shine. Most importantly, every student in America gets a week (or at least a couple of days) off of school to spend time with friends and family.
“I'm tired in general, but mainly of school. We need this break bad,” senior Jessie Palamo said.
There are many different ways that families celebrate Thanksgiving. There are those who enjoy it with their family only, and people like Monica, from the tv show Friends, that invite every single person in the 100 mile radius.
“I don't know how you can have so many people over, especially since many of them will never bring anything to help feed the party,” senior Misael Mundo said.
Thanksgiving is time to bring those close to you and spend time with them, not to mention eat the best meal you'll ever have until next year's Thanksgiving. No matter how many people eat and how much they eat, there will almost always be leftovers.
“I eat leftovers until it's all gone man. Not a grain of food is to go to waste. I don't care how long it takes it gets eaten or else,”senior Jesus Rivera said.
